Deletion of a data product removes the data product from the Exchange as well as entirely deletes the data from all known storage locations associated with that data product on the platform.

Note: You must have an Organization Administrator role to perform this action.

To delete a data product:

  1. Click the organization logo on the navigation bar.

  2. Click on the Published Data Products tab.

  3. Select a Data Product and click on the three dots > Delete to delete a data product.

  4. You are informed where a Data Product is used and relationships or dependencies that must be managed before you can complete the deletion.

Relationships that prevent immediate deletion include

  • Active Subscriptions - these must be expired

  • Engineered data products - Support assistance is required to resolve this deletion

  • Automated data products - Support assistance is required to resolve this deletion
